The first time we experienced Hacienda del Mar was at a wedding for my niece in 2016. Since then, we have returned every two years to visit Larry and his crew at the “One and ONLY” Hacienda del
Mar.

What is so great about the Hacienda is if you want, even with 14 family members, there are so many areas you can be alone to read a book or take a siesta. haha. My thing is while everyone is out by the water playing in the pool or out back playing pickle ball, I love the serenity of the fountain courtyard while my husband stretches out on the 90’ couch in the Palapa Great room for his afternoon siesta.

No one ever needs to be entertained, everyone does their “own thing”. There are so many things to do, we all have our own favorites.

Every trip Larry has upgraded something. One year it was the new 5th Casita and infinity pool + Spa.

The next time it was all new Mini Split air conditioners for every room, and new custom solid core hardwood doors.

Then when we arrived to find all new cabinetry, granite counters, all new custom sinks and fixtures, and crazy beautiful handcrafted Perotta wood furniture we were absolutely blown away! What’s next Larry??

Our family is so spread out, every year we take a family vacay. So much more fun and this way we can be all together under one roof doing our favorite things.

After Larry built the 6th Casita adding space for an extra whole family, we can now include our young adult grandchildren that we never see because of their busy lives. However, when you mention we
are going back to Los Barries and Hacienda del Mar, their calendars miraculously clear up… So weird. hahaha

See ya next year Larry, already booked 2025!

Every time I think about finding you in that little classified ad in “New Mobility” magazine, my belief in destiny is rejuvenated. What you have done to give families with a disabled member sends chills up my spine.

To be able to travel to a village like Los Barriles and stay in such an incredible home for a truly seamless barrier-free vacation is a godsend. We don’t even have as many amenities in our own home.

Seriously, you may have overdone it with 4 roll-in showers. LOL But for Russ to have access to the pool and spa with the hoist is incredible. Not to mention being able to rent your accessible, 5-seater Polaris 4x4 that he can actually drive from his own wheelchair.

Now, I understand when we come in December, you will have a new 4x4 powered beach chair that we can rent to get him down to the water’s edge with the rest of us. OMG we are so excited.
